My Story
Woven Ash was born from my desire to create meaningful jewellery that allows you to carry the people, pets and memories that matter most, close to you.
I have always been drawn to the meaning we attach to jewellery. A necklace can mark a milestone, represent someone we love or quietly hold a story that no one else knows.
When I began exploring memorial jewellery, I found that many pieces felt traditional, expensive or visibly associated with grief. I wanted to create something different. Jewellery that felt modern, discreet and beautiful enough to wear every day.
Created to Hold What Matters
Woven Ash jewellery is designed to hold a tiny keepsake with personal meaning.
For some, that may be a loved one's cremated ashes. For others, it may be pet fur, a strand of hair, dried flowers or another small memento connected to a person, place or moment.
There are no rules around what your jewellery has to represent. Every piece tells a different story.
A More Personal Way to Remember
I also wanted you to have the choice to fill your jewellery yourself.
Every memorial piece includes an at-home filling kit, allowing you to add your keepsake privately and in your own time. You do not need to send precious ashes or mementoes away.
For me, this was an important part of creating Woven Ash. The process of choosing and filling your piece can be deeply personal, and I believe you should be able to do that in the way that feels right for you.

Woven Ash is a small New Zealand brand, created and run by me, Brit.
