Every piece includes a simple at-home kit, so you can complete the process privately, in your own time.
How do I fill my memorial jewellery?
Each Woven Ash memorial piece is designed to hold a small amount of ashes, hair, fur or another meaningful keepsake.
- Prepare your keepsake
Have your ashes or keepsake ready, along with the small filling funnel and tool provided with your jewellery. - Locate the filling opening
Carefully unscrew or remove the small screw or stopper from your jewellery using the tool provided. - Add your keepsake
Place a very small amount of your keepsake into the filling opening. Take your time and avoid overfilling. - Secure the opening
Once filled, carefully replace the screw or stopper and gently tighten it to ensure the keepsake is securely enclosed. - Wear and treasure
Your jewellery is now ready to wear as a meaningful keepsake, keeping your loved one or cherished companion close to you.
Tip: Fill your jewellery over a clean, flat surface so any small amount of material can be easily collected if needed.
What comes with my memorial jewellery?
Each memorial piece comes with a simple filling kit to help you add your chosen keepsake. The kit includes a small funnel and filling tool, making the process easy and straightforward. We recommend filling your pendant over a clean, flat surface and following our step-by-step filling instructions.

Do you ship within New Zealand?
Yes. We currently ship within New Zealand. If you are located outside New Zealand, please contact us before ordering so we can calculate the shipping cost separately.
Will my jewellery look exactly like the photos?
We do our best to accurately represent each piece in our product photos. However, slight variations in colour, finish and appearance may occur due to lighting, photography and individual screens.
How long does my order take to arrive?
All Woven Ash jewellery is made to order. Please allow up to 14 working days for your order to be carefully prepared and dispatched. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the delivery service.
Can I return or exchange my jewellery?
As many of our pieces are made to order and some are personalised, returns and exchanges may be limited. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details before placing your order.
What if my jewellery arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged or has an issue. We may ask you to provide photos of the item and packaging so we can assess the problem and help with the next steps.
Can I wear my memorial jewellery every day?
Yes, our memorial jewellery is designed to be worn and treasured. However, to help protect the finish and keep your piece looking its best, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
How much of a keepsake do I need?
Only a very small amount is needed. We recommend using a small pinch of ashes, fur, hair or another keepsake rather than trying to fill the entire piece. Take care not to overfill the jewellery.
Can I add ashes, fur, hair or another keepsake?
Yes. Our memorial jewellery is designed to hold a small amount of ashes, pet fur, hair or another meaningful keepsake. Please follow our filling instructions carefully when adding your keepsake.
Do you offer engraving?
Yes. Selected Woven Ash pieces can be personalised with engraving. Available character limits and engraving options are listed on each individual product page.
How do I care for my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions and harsh chemicals. Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or sleeping. When not being worn, store it in a clean, dry place, preferably in a jewellery box or pouch.
What are Woven Ash jewellery pieces made from?
Our jewellery is made from a range of materials depending on the piece. Memorial pendants, bracelets and engravable pieces are primarily made from stainless steel with an 18k gold coating and may feature zircon stones. Some pieces are made from copper-coated materials or alloy. The exact material will always be specified in the individual product description.
Is Woven Ash jewellery suitable for sensitive skin?
Our stainless steel pieces are generally suitable for sensitive skin. However, everyone's skin is different, and we recommend checking the material listed on each product page if you have known metal sensitivities. Some pieces are made from copper-coated materials or alloy, which will be clearly specified in the product description.
Is the jewellery waterproof or water resistant?
Our jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to water, swimming pools, salt water, perfumes and harsh chemicals. Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or bathing to help maintain its finish and prolong its life.
Is the jewellery real gold?
Our gold-coloured jewellery is finished with an 18k gold coating over the base material. It is not solid gold or pure gold. With proper care, you can help protect the coating and keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer.
